Erica R. Kemmerley

Erica focuses exclusively on domestic relations issues. She recently joined Sherr Puttmann Akins Lamb PC as special counsel. Erica has been practicing law for 35 years, and prior to joining the firm, she had been with Hunnicutt & Appelman PC, a premier family law firm in Denver, since 1999. Although her primary practice is comprised of family law litigation cases, her preference is to reach amicable resolutions in a collaborative setting or some sort of alternative dispute resolution forum. Erica brings her own life experience of divorce with a young child to her practice, always striving to foster and protect a healthy co-parenting relationship. Her life experience contributes to the empathy and wisdom with which she shepherds her clients through the emotional, psychological, and financial turmoil of divorce. Erica’s clients appreciate the practical and healing perspective which she brings to each client’s unique circumstances to help each move forward with their lives post-divorce.
