Michelle Brinner
Michelle has practiced marital and family law exclusively since 2008. She began practicing civil litigation in Florida in 2002, and quickly developed a passion for helping families navigate the challenges that arise in domestic relations litigation. Michelle was a partner at a renowned law firm in Florida before relocating with her family to Colorado. Michelle continued to practice family law in 2021 at a prominent family law firm in Denver before joining Sherr, Puttmann, Akins, & Lamb, PC.
Michelle takes her role as counselor at law to heart and enjoys working with her clients to develop strategies and solutions to achieve positive outcomes so they can focus on rebuilding their lives. Michelle has been trained as a Collaborative Law Professional. When solutions do not result in agreements, Michelle is a skilled courtroom advocate and is well prepared to advocate for her clients. Throughout Michelle’s legal career, she has handled all aspects of civil litigation from start to finish, and has also handled multiple appeals resulting in published opinions in Florida.
As a parent of three children, Michelle deeply understands parenting issues and evolving family dynamics in the divorce process and beyond. She is a trained parent-coordinator/decision maker. Michelle also has a wealth of experience with complex legal and financial issues. Michelle’s clients appreciate her compassionate and thoughtful approach as she guides them through the challenging domestic relations arena.
Outside of the office Michelle enjoys watching her children participate in various sports and activities throughout the Denver Metro area, running, and reading.
